  Folks, I went back with the hubby and there was certainly an improvement on food quality.  I gave the sample platter a shot just so I could try a little bit of everything with the hubby and it was yummy. We will continue coming!

  Pretty good burger, bacon is nice and crunchy!Fries are beer batter cooked to prefection!

  We stopped here on our way to Las Vegas for our dinner . I had the French dip it was very good , I don't think there is very much you can say about a French dip, the the dip itself was good, fries were very good. We've eaten here a few times not a bad place to stop and eat.

  Took my wife and her best friend out for my wifes birthday. And remembered how much fun I had at Sandwinds back in the day. I actually worked for the founder Larry Miller when I was a kid at his roping events 25 plus years ago. We walked into the bar around 9:45 and the place was empty minus three ladies playing pool and the bar tenders and a DJ.. Sadly the DJ was the nicest person in the place. I ordered drinks for the wife and her friend and asked for a coffee since I was the DD and i cant have carbonation. The bar tender that helped me had shorter brown hair and a black top, the name on the reciept had the name Lisa Mariea.. When I asked for coffee she said she didnt have any and would have to make to gallons just for one cup and it would be waisted. I was flabbergasted at the fact of a bar not catering to DDs. Oh well..I met the DJ..nice guy..and asked if he takes request to which he said sure.. I asked for a mix of country with some 80s metal if he could every once in a while.. The DJ was great..solid mix..2 or 3 hip hop..couple country..then metallica..my favorite.. the DJ even walked by and patted me on the arm...by this time about 25 sailors came in.. the music was loud..the atmosphere was fun and mixed..then Metallica came back on..mind you I have two time stamped receipts 49 minutes apart. I heard rock once.. like I said great mix.. I spent 14 years in the military and can tell you that something as simple as music is the key to drinks and good time flowing. Lisa Marie goes to the DJ and makes an announcement that rock and Metallica just cant be played anymore.. my table booed her as well as a few other patrons... I know its trivial and seems mundane...but no coffee.. attitude... and dictating what the customer thinks is good...Piss poor job... I almost went and took my tips back...just horrible... but on a good note..went to Boomers and had a blast with live music and great attentive bar tenders.. Larry, if you still run this place...I'm disappointed...

  Fucking bartender stopped the DJ from playing Metallica.  We were enjoy our night up until then.. once she pulled that shot we went to boomers.. better service by far the bartender there even offered to make coffee for our designated driver which your bartender would not.. I can tell why this bar has severely go down hill since I have lived in fallon.. will not be back
